I made a bold statement not too long ago on Insta that I felt like Target style may be making a comeback. It was a few years back when it felt like every article of clothing I owned was from Target- and everything was adorable! Target has had to keep up with the Jones’ recently, keeping pace with Walmart fashion, and this summer it feels like they are finally reeling us Millennial moms back in! Almost every new piece of clothing in my closet this season is from Target and my wallet (and my husband) aren’t made about it.
Tees are a summertime basic and should be stocked up on! With this short sleeve tee being only $6, you can afford to not own it in several colors. The ribbed tank is another Target classic that has been around for several years. I love that they keep coming back with this flattering cut and more colors continue to be added. I may or may not own about 5 of these. Pair these tees with the most flattering jean shorts or hip denim pants and you basically have your summer wardrobe covered.
However- if you need to jazz up your casual look, these two dresses are both great options for work or a summer bbq. The cinch-waist maxi shirt dress comes in several colors and prints. It’s flowy, lightweight, and is flattering on all body types. This white linen vest dress will keep you on trend as the vest look is quickly making a comeback.
